1. What did you want to be when you grew up, as a kid?
   C : an astronaut
   K : a dancer - ballerina, specifically.

2. Name a celebrity whose energy you channel when you want to feel your best.
   C : more of a TV character than a celebrity, but Olivia Pope — specifically when she says, “it’s handled”
   K : i don’t really have a celebrity whose energy I channel. I’ve always adored Elizabeth Taylor, but never thought to channel her energy.

3. What’s your most recent purchase?
   C : Portrait of a Lady by Frederic Malle
   K : this morning - my matcha latte. It was delicious.

4. What’s at the top of your wishlist?
   C : this Miu Miu canneté tote — love the khaki green + banana yellow color combo
   K : currently, an Epsom Mini Kelly Sellier Etoupe. I love a classic shape and color.

5. Are you introverted or extroverted?
   C : introverted, i love my “me time” at home
   K : extroverted. I truly love being around people and feel more energized that way.

6. Who’s the most-played artist on your Spotify?
   C : probably the same answer i’ve had for ten year now - Radiohead
   K : currently, Berlioz. A Berlioz playlist has become a staple in my morning routine.

7. What’s your favorite holiday?
   C : any that give me a long weekend!
   K : New Year’s Eve. Everyone is always so excited and happy. I love the genuine joy from strangers. Sidenote… my birthday is on the 1st of January - so it’s a lovely lead into the day.

8. What 3 beauty products would you bring to a desert island?
   C : Supergoop unseen sunscreen, Makeup by Mario lip serum… and i’m currently very into this SkinMedica cleanser
   K : Dior Addict lip maximizer lipgloss in Cherry, moisturizing sunscreen and some AHA/BHA for my skin

9. What’s a beauty or fashion trend that you want to learn more about?
   C : everything and anything in Tibi’s The Creative Pragmatist book
   K : Color theory and Kibbe body typing - i think there is something that is really nice and elevated about leaning into what works the best for your body type and coloring.

10. High heels or sneakers?
    C : ballerina flats 🩰
    K : high heels, but a good medium height.

11. What’s an item you own that means a lot to you?
    C : a pair of green satin Manolos that my mom used to own <3
    K : my Cartier love ring - I bought it as a gift to myself in Paris when I was working really hard, was having a rough day but I felt like I deserved some extra love.

12. What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?
    C : i really, really hate small talk
    K : i am a New Years baby.

13. What’s been your biggest fashion fail?
    C : i tried to DIY highlights with box dye when i was 16… my hair came out orange 😭
    K : keeping on theme with bad hair colors… I was once blonde - let’s never talk about it again haha

14. Favorite place you’ve visited or lived?
    C : i don’t think i’d ever want to live in Paris, but it’s one of my favorite places to visit!
    K : lived - in Berlin. Visited - Portugal. But so many other places were so beautiful. Portugal was the perfect place for the time I visited.

15. What’s your most-used emoji?
    C : 🥰
    K : heart emoji❤️ but I’ve started using this bubble one🫧

16. What’s your biggest pet-peeve?
    C : slow walkers, slow workers, slow talkers… i think the NYC pace of life is getting to me
    K : poor dental hygiene.

17. If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
    C : teleportation… or invisibility
    K : to rewind and fast forward time to experience beautiful moments again.

18. What’s your “toxic” trait?
    C : my iMessages are currently sitting at 510 unread messages 🙃
    K : Coco says it’s me laughing at inappropriate times. She isn’t wrong. I will literally will be going through a terrible, traumatic event and then I start laughing. I think it helps me realize that this too shall pass.

    C : princess diana, my mom + michelle obama
    K : oprah, kris jenner and elizabeth taylor

20. What’s a major goal that you’d like to accomplish?
    C : connecting with all of YOU on here on Substack! i’ve been a long-time reader of so many incredible publications on this website, so we’re super excited to finally launch one of our own.
    K : just knowing each day I am fully living and experiencing everything that life has to offer - while impacting the world and people in a positive way. Also, maintaining my lightness, kindness and love… it’s truly challenging at times but I would not like to lose sight of enjoying even the smallest things that life has to offer.
